In 2007, the project company worked with China Orient Asset Management Co., Ltd. Hubei Branch to dispose of and recover the comprehensive asset package of about RMB 4 billion in Jingzhou, Hubei Province.

The project company arranged for personnel to check the debtor’s information at the site, and conduct a serious and comprehensive investigation and evaluation of the single creditor’s rights, debtor’s information and guarantor’s information, pledge and collateral in the asset package. Meanwhile, the project company formulated an efficient and rational disposal plan for China Orient Asset Management Co., Ltd. Hubei Branch, conducted repeated communication with the debtor or intended investor and local government and people’s court upon relevant authorization, and unfolded the recovery and disposal through repurchase of creditor’s rights, subcontracting of creditor’s rights and disposal by litigation. 

The company completed 60% of the cost recovery within one year, and completed 38% of the disposal with lower-than-estimated cost in three and a half years.
